The Hare and Hounds offers a wonderfully secluded area, well away from the road for you to enjoy your stay in peace and quiet.(except from a probable visit from the pub cat!) We are a five van site registered with the camping and caravanning club and can offer you running water and electricity aswell as waste and chemical disposal. The site is situated beyond the car park and is surrounded by high trees and shrubbery, behind which lays many acres of working farmland and countryside. Close by attractions include Tallington lakes, Burghley house, historic Stamford and the market towns of Bourne and Market Deeping. Fifteen miles away is the fantastic city of Peterborough with its many activities and areas of interest such as the cathedral, museum, shopping centres, Ferry meadows and Flag Fen bronze age centre and archaelogical park. The local area is very popular with walkers and cyclists alike who enjoy exploring the beautiful countryside and is a excellent area for wildlife fans and birdwatchers.(when the cat is asleep!)
